You continue ever upwards by train past the Eiger North Face station where the husky dogs are bred, all the way through the mountain to the highest railway station in Europe – Jungfraujoch at 11 333 ft /3454 m. Visit the Ice Palace and its sculptures or enjoy the breathtaking views from the Sphinx look-out terrace over the Aletsch Glacier, the longest ice stream in Europe, to the surrounding mountain peaks of the neighbouring countries.
